The Vernon County Human Resources Department is responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining quality employees for each of the Vernon County departments. Functions of the department include, but are not limited to, the following: employee recruitment and onboarding, policy development and implementation, employee relations, negotiation and contract administration for collective bargaining unit, compensation, benefits and leave programs, administration and compliance monitoring for Affirmative Action EEO, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and other regulatory guidelines.
