Mission Statement:
It is the mission of the Vernon County Department of Human Services Child Support Unit to build partnerships with participants and serve the children and families of Vernon County in a courteous, professional, and timely manner. The Child Support program here in Vernon County is a county, state and federal effort designed to assist families in becoming independent and remain self-sufficient by ensuring that both parents are supporting their children. We assist with establishing paternity, child support and medical support orders, enforce child support and medical support orders and locate absent parents.  As a representative of the State of Wisconsin and the public interest on behalf of the children, the Vernon County Department of Human Services Child Support Unit does not represent either party.
