On Call

  • Required to work a total of 16 hours each month (8 of which must be weekend hours).
  • Required to work two of the following major Holidays.
    • New Years
    • Independence Day
    • Thanksgiving
    • Christmas Eve
    • Christmas Day
  • Works with scheduler -works no more than 24 hours each week. (This can adjust week to week.) Cannot be over 1200 from Date of Hire to anniversary date. i.e. 3/1/2021-3/1/2022.
  • No benefits received.

Part Time No Benefits

  • Works with scheduler -works no more than 24 hours each week. (This can adjust week to week.) Cannot be over 1200 from Date of Hire to anniversary date. i.e. 3/1/2021-3/1/2022.
  • Works every other weekend, every other Holiday
  • Works with scheduler -works no more than 24 hours each week. (This can adjust week to week.) Cannot be over 1200 from Date of Hire to anniversary date. i.e. 3/1/2021-3/1/2022.
  • No benefits received.

Part Time Benefit Eligible:

  • Works 30 hours per week, every other weekend, every other Holiday.
  • All benefits received.

Full Time

  • Works 40 hours per week, every other weekend, every other Holiday.
  • All benefits received.

Incentive Guidelines

SHIFTS: Day 545a-215p PM 145p-1015p NOC 1000p-600a

  • Incentive may be offered to ensure proper staffing coverage for resident care
  • Hours offered will be approved by Administration
  • Incentive will be paid at a minimum of 1 hour worked, no maximum
  • Hours worked < 4 hours are reimbursed at the current shift wage + OT (when applicable) + Incentive
  • Hours worked > 4 hours into the next shift will receive shift differential, OT (when applicable) + Incentive
  • An employee will forfeit incentive pay when they call in for a scheduled shift within the same pay period *Unless if offered incentive pay after call in date.
  • The employee is required to work any shift(s) they have agreed to, prior to the forfeiture
  • Administration will review and may approve any questionable situations

R.N./L.P.N.’S WILL RECEIVE SUPERVISOR COMPENSATION WHENEVER THEY ARE MOVED INTO THAT RESPONSIBILITY.

Any employee clocking in/out 1-hour prior to scheduled shift is paid at scheduled shift wage

Overtime pay will be calculated in accordance with FLSA regulations and the current Vernon County Policy Manual, ensuring fair compensation for eligible employees who work beyond the standard hours. Current Vernon County policy reads: Positions that are paid on an hourly basis and are entitled to overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week.

 

12-hour shifts or more are paid at each shift differential

WEEKEND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL:

$2.00/HOUR. Saturday through Sunday NOC shifts for Nursing Departments        

INCENTIVE PAY:

Incentive pay $6.25/hour *Offered by Shift supervisor, DON, ADON, Scheduler, or Manager

Holiday Incentive pay $10.00/hour *Offered by Shift supervisor, DON, ADON, Scheduler, or Manager       

SUPERVISOR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL:          

R.N./L.P.N. $1.25/hour  *Not applicable to PM Nurse Manager, ADON
