The Vernon County Health Department along with the Viroqua Area Buckle-up taskforce provides child passenger safety seat inspections free of charge to the public at community safety events throughout the summer as well as by appointment. Child safety seats are inspected for proper fit for both child and vehicle as well as for recalls and expiration date.

Our monthly child passenger safety seat inspections are held the first Wednesday of each month May through October. Please check the attached schedule for the locations of the events.
