The Aging and Disability Resource Center offers transportation options for individuals in the community.
Volunteer Driver Program Vernon County residents of all ages can request rides to and from destinations within a 100 mile radius of Viroqua. This is a door-through-door service. Riders are picked up from a starting location and are taken to their requested destination. Co-payments are based on mileage. To set up a volunteer driver, contact the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Vernon County at 608.637.5201 or 1.888.637.1323.

Mini Bus The Vernon County Mini-Bus is available to those in need of transportation for any reason including appointments, shopping, and social opportunities for a small fare. Each weekday it is scheduled to take passengers to specific destinations including La Crosse, Richland Center, Viroqua, and Madison. Our mini-bus is handicapped accessible. Rides must be reserved by calling the Unit on Aging at 608.637.5201 or 1.888.637.1323 before 3:00 pm the weekday before the ride is required. You are encouraged to call us to make your travel arrangements at the same time as you schedule an appointment.
