Protect public health and safeguard the environment (Land filling is the last choice of disposal options - we try not to fill the County Landfills even though it is our main source of revenue)

Vernon County Solid Waste/Recycling Department has received DNR approval of a vertical expansion of your sanitary landfill to meet the long term diposal needs of all citizens and businesses. Your comments and concerns would be greatly appreciated at any time.
