Well Water Sampling Information

It is recommended that all wells used for drinking water be tested annually for safety.

Vernon County Health Department is now a DATCP Certified Water Testing Laboratory for Bacteria (total coliform).

The Health Department provides well water testing kits 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday

Water samples can be submitted Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Water samples can also be submitted to the Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene or La Crosse County Health Department for testing.
