Vernon County Land & Water Conservation is accepting nominations for Conservation Farmer of the Year. The nomination form can be downloaded here.


Vernon County Land & Water Conservation will be holding a Conservation Photo Contest for any amateur photographer of any age. There are both a Youth and Adult age category and you can submit up to five photographs that you take anywhere in Vernon County. The Photos have to be entered into one of the following four categories: Conservation Practices, Close Up Conservation, Conservation in Action, and Ag/Conservation Across America. The top three photos in each category will be awarded a small prize and move onto the National Competition. All photographs are due by November 1, 2017. Visit the Contests page for more information
