The Vernon County Register in Probate Office has probate records for Vernon County dating back to 1851.  These records may be accessed during regular business hours.  A $4.00 search fee is required if a staff member does the search.  If you come in and search in person, no fee is charged.  If you want a staff member to perform a search if you live out of the area, you must put your request in writing and include the $4.00 search fee.
