Experience Works is a charitable, nonprofit organization providing income-eligible seniors, age 55 or over, with the training, experience,   supportive services and the information they need to improve skills and get jobs. Based on the local job opportunities and their abilities and interests, participants are assigned to training sites where they update and expand their skills while performing community service.  Participants receive training, support in filling out applications and interviewing as well as being compensated for 20 hours a week at the minimum wage.  Experience Works is funded by a grant from the US Department of Labor to help persons age 55 and over find jobs.
