Welcome to the Aging and Disability Resource Center

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Vernon County is the first place to go for accurate, unbiased information on aspects of life related to aging or living with a disability. The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Vernon County is a friendly, welcoming place where anyone - individuals, concerned families or friends, or professionals working with topics related to aging or disabilities - can go for information tailored to their situation.

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Vernon County provides information on broad range of programs and services, helps people understand the various long term care options available to them, helps people apply for programs and benefits, and serves as the access point for publicly-funded long term care. These services can be provided at the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Vernon County, via telephone, or through a home visit, whichever is more convenient to the individual seeking help.

Dementia-Capable WISCONSIN

A recent Dementia Summit brought together key stakeholders to identify priorities for the new State Plan. Before the Dementia Summit, DHS conducted a public survey to get input from people with memory loss or dementia, family members and others who informally care for someone with memory loss or dementia, and professionals that work with those who have dementia and their families. The following is the result of the Summit.

A large power chair was donated to the ADRC of Vernon County. The chair is a Quantum Tru Balance, weight capacity is 450 lbs. This chair tilts, lifts, and reclines. Please contact the ADRC at 608-637-5201 or 1-888-637-1323 if interested.
